Longest Night 2018

Student representatives from the Lisbon High School Jr. National Honor Society joined locals and others from as far away as Cape Cod and Tyngsboro, Massachusetts in support of the Bancroft House mission of providing sanctuary for the homeless.  The rainy conditions and warm temperatures were a blessing as the Dow Pavilion being constructed was completed to the degree that all of the participants found shelter from the wet weather.  Temperatures in the 30’s throughout the night made the evening bonfires less of a necessity and more of an atmosphere enhancer.

The Bancroft House thanks our sponsors –  Coldwell Banker LinWood Real Estate; Mascoma Savings Bank; Woodsville Guaranty Bank; Presby Construction, and The Gale River Motel; Subway of Littleton for providing sandwiches; and the Town of Franconia for allowing the use of the Dow Field and Pavilion for our event.
